The latest in a recent stream of the more commercial end of Turkey's film output, that presumably is relying on a committed immigrant community audience here.

This offering - a parcel of interlinked stories set in the city of the title - is a lot better than the home-country hit GORA, released a few weeks back. As you might expect with so many directors involved, the quality is patchy, and the musical score digs you in the ribs at times. But it's always watchable.
