An amiable twist on the 1967 classic Guess Who's Coming to Dinner? Lynne Truss might, however, be annoyed at the question mark's disappearance.
Bernie Mac plays a bank official, aghast when his daughter brings home a white boy called Simon, played by Ashton Kutcher, who does his almost prepubescent comedy thing. There's a nice scene when Mac's family coax Simon, just out of interest, into telling some of the racist jokes he's heard. Simon goes that little bit too far.
