Tim Allen reprises his ho-ho-wholly tiresome role as Santa Claus, presiding over an underworld civilisation of toy-making elves, played, in the tradition of Ken Dodd's Diddymen, by children. This time Santa's magical powers are going; he's losing his gut and his beard, "de-Santa- fying", and the only way to reverse this process is to get married - find a wife from up there in the human world, where he has a child from a previous relationship. (A very modern Santa, this.) You might find the syllables bah, hum, and bug dancing on your lips.
