Kanye West is the star of his very own Japanese role-playing game, titled Kanye Quest 3030.

Based in the heart of a virtual futuristic city, the 2D game features guest appearances from Tupac Shakur, Nicki Minaj and Jay-Z, while the end-of-level boss and "god-like dictator" is Lil B, the BasedGod. In order to succeed, West must collect power points by winning rap battles and defeat enemies using croissants as ammunition. If that doesn't sound amazing enough, there are 808s and RPG-mixed West tunes, including a dramatic piano rendition of West's 2010 single Power, to guide you through his journey.

The game is available now, despite no authorisation or affiliation with West, and follows the release of this week's Black Skinhead video, featuring the rapper as an evil Sims character.

Kanye Quest 3030 is the latest in a long line of video games incorporating musicians, from 50 Cent's Blood on the Sand to Two Chainz's Live in Color. In 2003, Def Jam released a series of video games, the first of which was titled Def Jam Vendetta and was a wrestling game featuring artists such as DMX, Joe Budden and Ludacris.

Kanye Quest 3030 was created by an independent game developer named Phenix. It is suitable for Windows platforms only.
