Transit – review

Swapping the leads around might have put a bit of genuine interest in this try-hard thriller, writes Catherine Shoard

With its big synths and copious sweat, retro back-projection and vigilante vests, there's something of the cable-TV guilty pleasure to Transit. One-time Christ Caviezel is our family man wrangling evil robbers, headed up by squinty James Frain. They're better than this; flip the leads and suddenly you've got a miles more interesting thriller. As it is, Transit delivers little of value, and never with a smile.
