In this lean, fast-moving docudrama, Leclercq reconstructs the 1994 hijacking of an Air France plane in Algiers by a terrorist group intending to crash it into the Eiffel tower. The events are seen from three points of view, those of a special forces officer, Thierry Prugnaud, badly wounded in the siege at Marseille; Carole Jeanton, a tough, principled civil servant with the antiterrorist branch of the French foreign office; and Yahia Abdallah, a dedicated member of the Algerian terrorist organisation, the GIA (Groupe Islamique Armé). The staging is meticulous.
