Lovewrecked stars the vacuous Amanda Bynes as a high-school graduate with a summer job at a Caribbean resort who induces her rock star idol (Chris Carmack) into believing that he and she are marooned together on a desert island. The movie looks like an extended commercial for some sickly form of coconut confectionery and is the work of Randal Kleiser, who years ago directed Brooke Shields in a version of The Blue Lagoon, which at least had the virtue of Oscar-nominated photography by the great Nestor Almendros.
