Top film-makers have signed up to a new scheme to help develop the next generation of movie talent.

Paul Greengrass (The Bourne Supremacy), Stephen Frears (Mrs Henderson Presents) and Peter Cattaneo (The Full Monty) are among the directors in the mentoring project for 26 new talents, with writers Julian Fellowes (Gosford Park) and Deborah Moggach (Pride and Prejudice) and producers Andrew Eaton (A Cock and Bull Story) and Norma Heyman (Gangster Number 1).

The Guiding Lights scheme, chaired by Tim Bevan of Working Title, was launched last night.
