Lumines and Meteos go even more mobile

Yes, French mobile games publisher Gameloft has acquired the rights to produce mobile phone versions of PSP favourite, Lumines, and cult DS puzzler, Meteos, both produced by Sega legend Tetsuya Mizuguchi, now head honcho at Q Entertainment. This is a bit of a baffling new business model: taking portable games and making them a bit more portable on another platform. But I suppose it makes sense - they're both excellent titles with mainstream pick-up-and-play appeal, and, as difficult as this may be to believe, some people are never going to buy a DS or PSP.
