The dreary world of Britain's Edge City - a dull new town development - is the setting for this moderate British drama with flashes of promise, made on a budget so low they can clearly only dream of affording a shoestring.

Four lads hang meaninglessly about, with nothing to live for but lager-fuelled Friday nights and lad mags, getting involved in the kind of rucks that get filmed on CCTV and shown on the local news. One has a secret: he's taking Prozac for depression and anxiety attacks - a melancholy made worse by his way of life and the landscape itself.

A fair bit of drama-school acting and naive scripting, but first-time writer-director Jason Ford might one day have more to show us.
