Say what you like about his films, but there's no disputing that Tarantino's soundtracks are always worth waiting for. Tarantino is a man who loves music and movies in equal measure. A decade ago he single-handedly raised the movie soundtrack to an art form with his unforgettable collection of tracks on Reservoir Dogs; Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown similarly showcased an eclectic mix of 60s and 70s classic tunes.

With Kill Bill (volume 1), Tarantino has once again raided his record collection and come up with the goods. The soundtrack to his long-awaited kung-fu exploitation film features a wide mix of sounds, styles and singers. From the kitsch delights of Nancy Sinatra's Bang Bang, to the campy dementia of The 5.6.7.8s (an all-girl act from Japan), or Wu-Tang Clan rapper RZA and an inspired Latino-sounding version of Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood by Santa Esmeralda, this album looks destined to be a classic.

What's more, the CD also includes three different movie trailers playable on a PC.
