Peter Bradshaw: An engaging documentary study of Scottish artist Andy Goldsworthy, who works with found objects in the natural world

German director Thomas Riedelsheimer directs an engaging documentary study of Scottish artist Andy Goldsworthy, who works with found objects in the natural world.

He constructs giant, snaking dry-stone walls; he patiently builds weird igloo-nest-style structures on the beach from branches - and lets them drift away, disintegrating, on the tide. Less fascinating was his preoccupation with throwing handfuls of snow in the air for the interesting shapes they make.

An intriguingly quietist artistic vocation.
