This very bizarre cop thriller from Korean director Woo-Suk Kang intrigued, baffled and finally defeated me. A Dirty Harry-type rogue cop, Kang (Kyung-gu Sul) is on the trail of a twisted psycho who's chopped up an elderly couple.

His partner has committed suicide after an internal affairs inquiry into suspected corruption - in which Kang is assumed to be up to his neck, though we never hear any more about it. And the "killer" storyline disintegrates into a deeply implausible non-dénouement.

The cops have a knockabout habit of clipping each other round the head. Is it a Three Stooges movie we're watching? You've got me.
