The PC screen that goes round the bend

Gary Starkweather at Microsoft Research has developed a prototype of a new type of PC screen that is 12 inches high, 44 inches wide and curved 90 degrees, reports Kristi Heim of the Mercury News Seattle Bureau. Starkweather invented the laser printer at Xerox's Palo Alto Research Center and won an Academy Award for his work on film scanning.
