MyLifeBits — Bell interviewed

The idea of using MyLifeBits software to hold all your data (and memories) came up last November. Now CNet has an interesting interview with Gordon Bell, designer of the DEC VAX mini, who is working on the idea at Microsoft's Bay Area Research Center in San Francisco. And as CNet's Paul Festa notes, correctly, it all goes back to 1945 to Vannevar Bush's idea, the Memex.
