Palm is busy rewriting the current single-tasking 16-bit Pam OS which runs on antique but cheap Motorola processors to make it into a 32-bit multi-tasking OS that runs on ARM chips like the PocketPC's Windows CE. At long last, Palm users will also be able to have decent screens. CNet has a comparison of Palm OS 4 and what is expected for OS 5.
