According to UK-based Canalys, sales of all types of Windows CE handheld (mainly PocketPCs) have the same market share as Palm in EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa*), with 34% each, though of course Palm OS is still ahead thanks to sales of Sony and Handspring models. The figures show that sales of Symbian-based systems plunged by 26%, but its market share stayed at 13% because the whole market was down.
