Another virulent worm is doing the rounds "in a harry". This one is called Goner after the name of the file attachment, GONE.SCR Otherwise it is easy to spot. Mail has the Subject: Hi and text that reads: "How are you ? When I saw this screen saver, I immediately thought about you. I am in a harry, I promise you will love it!" What has been less well publicised is that this is not just the usual e-mail virus. It also tries to spread itself via the ICQ instant messaging system, and it attacks the #pentagonex IRC-channel by creating new users with random names.
