This week Visceral Business compiled the Charity Social 100 Index 2012, and we published the results on the network.
The study found that charities are using social media to increase their reach and promote their work, but are not making the most of social networks to engage and interact with supporters.
Visceral Business's Anne McCrossan said: "The results show that smaller, more networked charities in which people feel involved, and where there's less of a perceived difference between the inside and the outside of the organisation, are doing particularly well."
She also said: "There's something of a disconnect going on at the moment. Charities aren't necessarily utilising the full potential that can be brought to the party when it comes to supporters wanting to share their own involvement in fundraising activities."
With that in mind our Q&A will look at:
• How charities can make better use of social media
• How charities can make online communication a two-way process
• Building and maintaining an online network
