While Blogger was being hacked, the Register was being taken offline by "an administrative error". It appears someone at the tech news site's ISP, PSI Net Europe, accidentally had their domain name disconnected from their webspace. Result? Blank screens - and rumours around the net that the Register, which recently had to make a third of its staff redundant, had gone belly-up completely.
