LibertySurf is to announce its comeback with a major advertising campaign that brands it as the caring, sharing internet service provider.
The campaign breaks after a turbulent time for LibertySurf, which was forced to pull its original launch advertising campaign in May after only a day on air.
The company took the radical decision to stop advertising and suspend sales after it was besieged by technical problems.
Now, six months later, the company claims it has sorted out its difficulties and the campaign is returning to our screens.
The ads, which were created by WCRS, will run from today until the middle of January and feature children innocently demonstrating the meaning of "unmetered net access".
The service is intended to appeal to first-time users and families in particular.
LibertySurf said that excess demand had been the cause of its launch difficulties. But the company faces an uphill struggle to overturn the negative PR surrounding its failed launch.
Users of LibertySurf pay a one-off monthly payment of £10 and receive four hours of internet access, available anytime of the day.
Any further usage is charged at 1p a minute. For an extra £4 a month, customers can buy an additional eight hours and 20 minutes online each month with no call charges.
