Matt Dillon has joined the cast of Disney's Love Bug remake, Herbie: Fully Loaded.
Dillon will play a handsome "bad boy" in the film, which is set in the world of NASCAR racing. Others already cast include Lindsay Lohan and Michael Keaton, who is playing Lohan's father.
Rachel Weisz, girlfriend of director Darren Aronofsky, has joined the cast of his latest film, The Fountain. She will appear opposite Hugh Jackman.
Erika Christensen is to star in the thriller Flight Plan, opposite Jodie Foster and Peter Sarsgaard. Sean Bean is also said to be negotiating to appear in the film, which is about a woman (Foster) whose daughter strangely disappears while on board a plane.
Dwayne Johnson (otherwise known as the Rock) is to appear in Gridiron Gang. The film is based on a true story about teenagers at a juvenile detention centre whose lives are transformed after they join an American football team.

The Weinstein brothers and music supremo Tommy Mottola are joining together to put on a new musical based on Pink Floyd's massive hit, The Wall.
Variety reports that Mottola and the Weinsteins have acquired the rights from Floyd's Roger Waters. However, Waters will write the book and arrange and orchestrate the music.
The Wall was a huge success for Pink Floyd on its release in 1979. A film was made of it in 1982.
