A competent and workmanlike action-adventure romp for kids, briefly enlivened by a funny cameo from Christopher Walken. It's based on the urban myth about tourists in Australia who photograph a kangaroo wearing their jacket for a laugh - and it bounds off, carrying all their money.
A couple of dopey guys (Jerry O'Connell and Anthony Anderson) come to Oz carrying a wad of cash for the Mob. Then the zany FX roo takes the money and hops. The hero is a guy who grew up without a dad and is none the worse for it; the screenplay is co-scripted by Liz Hurley's former boyfriend, Steve Bing. Will little Damian Hurley be taken to see this film?
