A couple of years ago we had a blaxploitation comedy in The Ladies Man, a pretty dire movie-length version of a sketch on US TV's Saturday Night Live.

This isn't much better, a sub-Austin Powers spoof about a superfly brother, who is also a secret agent, driving a Cadillac and sporting an Afro of the 1970s vintage. He is torn between two lovers, Sistah Girl, a righteous woman of colour played by Aunjanue Ellis and the double agent White She Devil, Denise Richards.

It's the sort of movie that needs a cracking joke in every frame and every line, if the flimsy premise is to stay upright. Sadly, this just doesn't.
