Euro-glam meets Euro-gloom in this fantastically vapid piece of nonsense shot on cheap'n'cheerless digital video. It's a vanity project for its producer-star Diane Kruger, who plays, like, this supermodel? In Paris? Who gets really depressed? And goes to a clinic? And spends lots of time staring out of, like, the window? Trilingual Diane gets to show off her languages a fair bit. There are some inordinately long fashion-shoot scenes showing how she must endure asshole insensitive photographers. The sheer boredom of these sequences, if intentional, could almost count as radical Haneke-style ordeal cinema. This, however, is just an ordeal.
