"Blitz" is the nom de guerre of a young south London serial killer who sets out to kill a random selection of local cops as a way of ridiculing a psychopathic police sergeant (Jason Statham) who has humiliated him. It is an unedifying film, slickly directed and photographed, but lacking conviction and much inferior to the police procedurals you can see any night on television. Paddy Considine is rather good as a gay inspector brought in to assist on the case.
