A Mercury reviewer comparing games

A Mercury reviewer comparing games consoles reckons both the Sony PlayStation 2 and Nintendo GameCube represent better buys than Microsoft's Xbox, in spite of its technological superiority. What counts is having better games. True enough: it's exactly what Microsoft has been saying since the beginning. However, it's not very impressive journalism not to point this out. It also tends to destroy your street cred when it looks as though you don't know when the PlayStation 2 was launched (March 2000, in Japan) and you can't spell the name of your favourite game. (Subs? Who needs 'em....)
