There's little to recommend in this first-time feature, which falls well short of its ambitions. Ostensibly the story of three women - a judo star, a lapdancer and a singer whose lives intertwine - it's a disjointed, opaque, erratically performed piece that thoroughly outstays its welcome. You can't fault the effort of everyone involved, but there are basic flaws here that just can't be got round.
