Australia’s Oz Comic-Con event touches down in Melbourne on Saturday with a line-up of stars from Game of Thrones, Evil Dead and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Oz Comic-Con begins its first event in 2015 at the Melbourne Convention centre featuring stars from science fiction and fantasy films, books, comics and television shows.

The annual convention will this year be headlined by Bruce Campbell, the star of the Evil Dead series, Jason Momoa and Keisha Castle-Hughes from Game of Thrones, Emma Caulfield and Amber Benson from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Jewel Staite from Firefly.

Campbell is headlining the convention amid a TV resurrection of the long dormant Evil Dead series.

The two-day convention will also feature cosplay gusts Eve Beuaregard and Mel Hoppe, as well as comic and publishing guests Paul Abstruse, Jason Palmer and Wolfgang Bylsma.

The event will draw thousands of fans, many of whom will appear dressed as their favourite characters from science fiction and fantasy worlds.
