Danny Dyer, he’s a rough diamond, eh? At the TV Choice Awards this week, the EastEnders landlord was named Best Soap Actor and the BBC series grabbed the Best Soap prize, at the presentation of which, the Daily Mirror reports, Dyer appeared to lean in for a full-on kiss with Great British Bake Off presenter Mary Berry, which she brushed off with predictably good grace. As Dyer accepted his gong, he peppered his acceptance speech with swearing and, for some reason, launched into awards host David Mitchell – saying the Peep Show star was nothing without his script. A soap star having a go at another actor for relying on scripts? Ten out of 10 for logic there, Danny boy.
