The most tweeted-about star during the Oscars was Jennifer Lawrence, according to new figures released by Twitter.
The American Hustle star beat Brad Pitt, Gravity director Alfonso Cuarón, Cate Blanchett and Sandra Bullock for mentions during the ceremony.
Twitter said during the live show (from 8:30pm to midnight US Eastern Time) there were more than 14.7m tweets worldwide containing terms related to the ceremony.
Gravity was the film that received the most mentions, followed by Frozen, 12 Years a Slave, Dallas Buyers Club and The Wolf of Wall Street.
The ceremony also produced the most retweeted photograph ever, with Ellen DeGeneres’ “selfie” attracting more than 2m retweets to smash Barack Obama’s record.
