Initially, the numerous obstacles of Cloudberry Kingdom appear impossible to navigate, but the gameplay is centred on the discovery of the precise route through levels similar to the trial-and-error platformer Super Meat Boy. It's a collage of popular platforming mechanics, then, and while the presentation and story are weak and there is a dearth of the appropriate fanfare when you complete a level, it's ideal for those who enjoy the genre at its simplest and purest.
