Set in run-down post-industrial Stockton-on-Tees, Jeanie Finlay's resolutely cheerful documentary celebrates the town's last independent specialist record shop, its laidback staff, dedicated manager Tom Butchart and quirky customers. It's a delightful, real-life version of Nick Hornby's novel High Fidelity, a song of love, sadness and mortality with everyone involved doing it their way as they face the vinyl curtain.
