Chris Tookey reviews Salvage and finds time dragging

The British sci-fi flick may be 'insanely long', but the Daily Mail's film critic overestimated its running time by 49 minutes

Imagine seeing nine films in a week, none of them – in your view – worth a damn. The Mail's critic Chris Tookey sat through four turkeys, and nothing with more than two stars, from Monday to Friday. How do you cope with something like Salvage, British "sci-fi horror on a few cheap sets all too obviously borrowed from Brookside"? Especially when, "at 130 minutes, it's insanely long". Alas, poor Chris. Salvage only lasts 81 minutes. Let's put the missing 49 down to insanity overload.
