The Rolling Stones: Four Flicks

(Warner Music Vision)

Although the Stones have rolled into the pantheon of rock legends, they seem curiously desperate to show themselves in the most prosaic light possible.

Included deep within this sprawling four-disc set is a documentary that allows us access to every aspect of the band's on-the-road life. Ever been desperate to watch Keith choosing a shirt from a dressing-room rack? Or dreamed of seeing Mick supervise a stage-design meeting in some corporate office? Look no further.

As for the rest of it, well, you get three different shows (theatre, arena, stadium), a vast array of great songs both famous and forgotten, and a glut of extras that should keep you busy until, oh, probably next Christmas.
